Using this treatment as a fertility treatment, it is assumed that it would increase the blood flow to the uterus, relax the cervix, and inhibit the “fight or flight” stress hormones that can make it harder for an embryo to implant itself. The study found that the odds of conceiving went up 65 percent for the women who were given the treatment.
