It also stimulates collagen synthesis and skin regeneration. It has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties to help prevent wound infections. It also contains vitamins and amino acids that help to repair damaged tissues.
Aloe vera extracts are also useful at improving glucose levels in diabetics and treating elevated blood lipids. It is non-toxic and has no known side effects.
