Milk Away Fibroids

Uterine fibroids are solid muscle tissue growths that are in the uterus. The cause of them are unknown but estrogen promotes their growth. They are not cancerous and are malignant, so they do not spread to other parts of the body. A recent study has shown that women who have four or more daily servings of dairy are 30 percent less likely to develop fibroids than women who have less than one per day. Nutrients, such as calcium, vitamin D, and phosphorus help to maintain normal cell division, which might protect the body against fibroids.

Health Benefits of Strawberries

Strawberries are a fruit that is commonly eaten and has a lot of health benefits. It is rich in the antioxidants called anthocyanin and ellagitannin. Anthocyanins help to reduce inflammation, protect cell structures in the body, and prevent oxygen damage to the body's organ systems. Ellagitannins are effective at fighting cancer cells, especially colon and cervical cancer. Strawberries can be used to clean and whiten teeth and to freshen breath. The peak season for ripeness is between April and July.

Strawberries are a good source of vitamin C, vitamin K, manganese, folic acid, potassium, riboflavin, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, copper, magnesium, folate, and omega-3 fatty acids. Strawberries have more vitamin C in them per serving than oranges. Vitamin C is important because it helps the brain to function properly and helps the body to rebuild blood vessels, tendons, ligaments, and bones. It also helps to keep blood pressure low. One serving of strawberries has 210 mg of potassium, which is a mineral that helps to regulate the electrolytes in the body and lower the risk of heart attack and stroke. Strawberries are also high in folate, which are important when it comes to the manufacturing of red blood cells.

Fight Cancer with Soy

Soy contains compounds called isoflavones that can prevent the growth of tumors and block the stimulation of cancer cells through hormones, such as estrogen and testosterone. There are also other substances in soy, such as saponins, phenolic acids, phytic acid, phytosterols, and protein kinase inhibitors, that have anticancer properties. There are isoflavone supplements currently available on the market in pill form.

Cell Phones Bad For Kids

There have already been links between cell phone use and brain cancer. The microwave radiation that is emitted from cell phones can affect a child's brain worse than an adult because younger skulls are thinner and less protective. The worse effects come from long term and frequent use of using wireless phones. Radiation levels vary by phone and wireless phones are assigned a number called the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR). It is recommended to choose a cell phone with a lower SAR rating.

The risks of tumor growth and damage decreases as a wireless phone is moved farther from the face. It is recommended that anyone using a wireless phone should use a headset or a wireless Bluetooth device.

Heartburn Can Lead to Esophageal Caner

Heartburn can increase the risk of developing esophageal cancer. This is due to the backwash of stomach acids damaging the esophageal lining, which can cause cell changes that can lead to caner.

It is recommended to drink a minimal amount of coffee and citrus juices. It is also a good idea to cut back on spicy foods to control heart burn. H2 blockers, such as Zantac, and proton pump inhibitors, such as Prilosec, can help to reduce symptoms and encourage the healing of damaged tissues.

Cell Phones Causing Sleeping Problems

It is found that the mild radiation that a brain receives from a cell phone can cause a person to have problems falling asleep. A study also found that people that were exposed to mobile phone radiation just before trying to go to sleep had higher risks when it came to having insomnia and headaches. The same people also had more trouble reaching a state of deep sleep and they couldn’t stay in deep sleep as long as people who weren’t being exposed to cell phone radiation.

It is assumed that mobile phone radiation causes changes in the areas of the brain responsible for activating and coordinating the stress system. It is recommended not to talk on a cell phone soon before going to bed.

Cell Phones Could Cause Infertility

It is found in a recent study that men who keep their mobile phones in their front pants pockets could be negatively affecting their fertility. The heat or electromagnetic radiation emitted by cell phones could possibly be the cause. The men that are most likely to experience infertility are the ones who use Bluetooth or headsets to talk with their phones in their pocket.

Cell Phones Cause Cancer

Cell Phones are microwave transmitters that oscillate at millions to billions of cycles per second. Those frequencies can cause cancer and other diseases by interfering with cellular DNA and its repair mechanisms. The cellular microwaves and radiation even cause rapid cell aging and makes cancerous cells grow more rapidly and aggressively. It is a good tip not to point your cellular antenna towards any exposed part of the body but radiation also comes through the keypad and mouthpiece and affects the brain, ear, and eye tissues. Belt clips allows radiation to affect the liver and kidney.

The Benefits of Water and Longevity

Water is one of the most important natural elements on earth. There are a lot of reasons that we need water for our basic survival and water has a lot of benefits that keep us healthy. Here are some of the benefits.
